SOV is the risk, governance and coordination token of the decentralized trading platform Sovryn. Sovryn is a DeFi platform built on Bitcoin and provides its users services like trading, lending / borrowing, margin trading, liquidity mining and staking. The Sovryn protocol has a Launchpad for creation of sub-protocols on its Origin Launchpad which are additions to the Bitcoin DeFi ecosystem.

The SOV-token can be staked in the decentralized governance of the Sovryn Protocol, the Bitocracy system, for collective decision making, staking rewards and exclusive sale participation rights for sub-protocols launched on the Sovryn Origins Launchpad.
