Orbiter Token (OBT) is the native cryptocurrency of Orbiter Finance, a platform that allows you to quickly and easily transfer Ethereum across multiple blockchains. With OBT, you can facilitate these cross-chain transactions efficiently.

Orbiter Finance is a protocol that enables secure and decentralized transfers of Ethereum and Bitcoin assets across various rollups. It supports networks like Ethereum, zkSync Era, Linea, Mantle, Base, StarkNet, and others.

The protocol operates with two main participants:

> Sender: You, the user initiating a transfer.

> Maker: A provider facilitating the transfer between networks.

When you start a transfer, you send assets directly to the Maker's address on the source network. The Maker then sends the corresponding assets to your address on the destination network. This direct approach ensures quick and efficient transactions.

To maintain security, Orbiter Finance uses an arbitration mechanism. If you don't receive your assets promptly, you can initiate arbitration. This process ensures that any disputes are resolved fairly, maintaining trust in the system.

Orbiter Finance is a decentralized protocol that lets you transfer Ethereum assets between different rollups. You act as the sender, initiating a transfer. 

A provider, called a Maker, facilitates this transfer. You send assets directly to the Maker's address on the source network. 

The Maker then sends the corresponding assets to your address on the destination network. 

This direct approach ensures quick and efficient transactions. If you don't receive your assets promptly, you can initiate an arbitration process to resolve the issue. 

Orbiter Finance was founded in 2021. The platform launched its native token, OBT, on January 20, 2025.

The project's roadmap includes plans for a decentralized Maker protocol in Q1 2025, a universal account system and OBT staking dividend mechanism in Q2 2025, a coordination layer and support for major trading pairs in Q3 2025, and the development of an omni-chain infrastructure in Q4 2025.

Orbiter Token (OBT) serves multiple purposes within the Orbiter Finance ecosystem. Primarily, it facilitates decentralized transfers of Ethereum assets across various rollups, enhancing interoperability and transaction efficiency.

Orbiter Token (OBT) has a total supply of 1 billion tokens. The distribution is as follows:

> Community: 60% allocated to community incentives, including airdrops, liquidity mining, and ecosystem rewards.

> Team and Advisors: 20% reserved for the founding team and advisors, subject to a vesting schedule to ensure long-term commitment.

> Investors: 15% designated for early backers and investors, also following a vesting period.

> Treasury: 5% allocated to the project's treasury for future development and unforeseen expenses.
