Recently, Levva merged with Open Custody Protocol to form The Yield Alliance, aiming to create an intelligent and secure AI-powered DeFi ecosystem. As part of this merger, OPEN tokens are being swapped 1:1 for LVVA tokens. ​

​Levva Protocol simplifies your DeFi experience by automating liquidity provision and yield optimization. Here's how it works:​

1. Vaults: You deposit assets into Levva's noncustodial vaults. These vaults automatically manage and optimize your investments across various DeFi protocols, ensuring efficient capital utilization. ​

2. Lending Pools: Levva offers isolated lending markets where you can lend or borrow assets. The protocol automatically tracks and liquidates risky borrower positions, redistributing liquidation surpluses back to liquidity providers like you.

3. Adapters and Router: Levva connects to multiple decentralized exchanges (DEXs) through adapters. The router orchestrates these connections, enabling seamless trading and yield optimization. ​

4. Oracles: To ensure accurate asset valuations, Levva employs a multi-layered pricing system. This system combines on-chain data from DEXs with external feeds from providers like PYTH and Chainlink. ​

Levva emerged from Marginly on October 29, 2024, introducing automated smart vaults to simplify DeFi capital management. Marcel Thiess, serving as General Manager, and Peter Sergeev, Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Co-founder, lead Levva.

​The Levva Protocol Token (LVVA) serves multiple purposes within the Levva ecosystem:​

1. Governance: LVVA holders can participate in protocol governance, influencing decisions on future developments and changes.​

2. Levva Protocol Staking and Rewards: By staking LVVA tokens, you can earn rewards and potentially higher yields within the Levva platform.​

3. Trading LVVA Tokens: You can trade Levva Protocol tokens on cryptocurrency exchanges such as KuCoin. For instance, KuCoin spot market supports LVVA trading pairs, allowing you to buy or sell LVVA tokens. ​

The maximum supply of Levva Protocol is fixed at 2 billion LVVA tokens. Of this, the current total supply is 1.25 billion LVVA tokens, and the remaining 750 million tokens will be minted over four years to support protocol incentives. ​
