AutoLayer (LAY3R) is a restaking platform that evolved to become one of the leading Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRT) finance hubs on the Arbitrum network. The project was founded by a team led by CEO Javier Blanco Thomas and CTO Anxo Soto. Javier has a background in software development and crypto technology, while Anxo is known for his work in developing crypto and security projects. The team consists of 14 people, divided into developers, strategists, operations, marketing, and design departments. AutoLayer is a division of Glue Digital, a software development consultancy focused on crypto, fintech, and security sectors.
The token was launched in 2024, with its public Initial DEX Offering (IDO) held in September 2024 on launchpads like Poolz, MagicSquare, and Ape Terminal. The total token supply is 32 million, with distribution allocated to the community, ecosystem, seed round, public round, liquidity provision, treasury, strategic advisors, and the AutoLayer team.
The roadmap for AutoLayer includes the following key phases:
1. AutoLayer V1.5 - A multi-chain approach expanding from Arbitrum to Ethereum, BNB Chain, and other networks. The focus is on leveraging Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) across multiple assets while implementing risk management features like LRT scoring.
2. AutoLayer V2 - Introducing new features, including Virtual Operator creation, vaults for managing various yield strategies, and advanced scoring mechanisms for LRTs and Actively Validated Services (AVS). The goal is to enhance automation, security, and interaction within the ecosystem.
The project has plans for more integrations and partnerships to drive its growth, focusing on maximizing user yields while maintaining a secure, decentralized platform. AutoLayer is backed by investors, including KuCoin Labs, Morningstar Ventures, and others.
