On November 29, 2024, Hyperliquid conducted a significant airdrop, distributing 31% of the total HYPE supply to early users. This event marked one of the most valuable airdrops in crypto history.

The remaining tokens are allocated for future community rewards, core contributors, and the Hyper Foundation. This structure aims to incentivize platform growth, reward contributors, and ensure long-term sustainability.

The Hyperliquid (HYPE) airdrop occurred on November 29, 2024, distributing 310 million HYPE tokens—31% of the total 1 billion supply—to eligible users. Eligibility was determined by participation in a prior rewards program that concluded in May 2024, where users accumulated reward points convertible to HYPE tokens.

As the airdrop has already taken place, new users cannot participate in this distribution. However, Hyperliquid has allocated 38.88% of the total HYPE supply for future emissions and community rewards, indicating potential opportunities for community engagement and rewards in the future.
