Important Announcement to All Customers

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), and relevant authorities held a press briefing on 24 November 2025 regarding the order to suspend operations and delete 1.2 million records related to iris-scanning activities conducted in exchange for cryptocurrency rewards, which were found to be non-compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). The key points are as follows:

1.The operator providing iris-scanning services in exchange for the Worldcoin (WLD) cryptocurrency was found to have failed to provide complete information regarding  the purpose of obtaining consent, resulting in the consent being improper and non-compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).
2.The PDPC has submitted the case to an expert committee, which subsequently issued an administrative order to immediately suspend the project’s operations and to delete all iris-scan data that had been collected. The committee is also considering appropriate penalties for the operator.

Since the announcement involves legal matters relating to the digital asset issuer Worldcoin (WLD)—which may be significant and could affect the rights and interests of customers—ERX Co., Ltd. (“the Company”), as a licensed digital asset business operator providing trading services for the WLD token, advises customers to exercise careful discretion when buying, selling, or holding WLD tokens. Customers are encouraged to review all relevant information and potential risks thoroughly, and to follow updates from regulatory authorities regularly for their own best interest.

Please note that at this time, customers can continue to deposit, withdraw, and trade WLD tokens as normal on the Company’s platform.
