WATCoin (WAT) is a blockchain-based gaming token created by GAMEE, a Web3 mobile gaming platform. Built on The Open Network (TON), WAT aims to attract casual gamers to the Web3 ecosystem through fun and engaging gaming experiences. The token is a part of the second-largest TON gaming ecosystem with over 120 million users.
WATCoin is designed to reward players with WatPoints for participating in games, which they can redeem for real-world assets. It aims to simplify blockchain gaming by reducing traditional barriers to entry, making it more accessible to users through casual gameplay on platforms like Telegram.
The Wat Protocol, initially known as the Phoenix Protocol, is GAMEE's rewards system for GMEE token holders on Ethereum and participants across the GAMEE ecosystem. WatPoints, previously referred to as "Loot," are points collected through the Wat Protocol. Their specific purpose will be disclosed in future episodes. WatPoints collected via the protocol cannot currently be merged with points earned elsewhere (e.g., Telegram or Arc8). However, there will be an option to combine these balances before the protocol concludes.
