      Treasure was founded by a globally distributed team of developers, product managers, artists, brand builders, marketers, economists, and gamers. The co-founders behind the project are John Patten, Gaarp, and Karel Vuong.

      The project was initially launched as the Loot Project on Ethereum in August 2021. In October 2021, it migrated to Arbitrum due to Ethereum’s high gas fees and network congestion.
