    About Eigenpie

    • What Is Eigenpie (EGP) Crypto?

Eigenpie (EGP) is a liquid restaking protocol built on the EigenLayer network. It allows users to enhance their staking rewards by restaking Ethereum Liquid Staked Tokens (LSTs) like stETH and rETH. You deposit your LSTs and receive isolated liquid restaked tokens (LRTs), which can offer better returns while keeping your assets flexible.

The EGP token is used for governance and rewards within the Eigenpie ecosystem. It will soon be listed on several exchanges, including KuCoin, allowing users to trade it for other cryptocurrencies. Eigenpie also has a points-based airdrop system, where users earn tokens based on their staking activity.

This project is part of a growing trend in decentralized finance (DeFi) that focuses on boosting staking yields and network security on Ethereum.

    • How Does Eigenpie Protocol Work?

Eigenpie (EGP) allows you to increase your Ethereum staking rewards through a process called "liquid restaking." You deposit Ethereum Liquid Staked Tokens (LSTs) like stETH or rETH into Eigenpie. In return, you receive isolated liquid restaked tokens (LRTs) that are linked to the original LST, helping you earn more returns without losing control of your assets.

You can participate in staking by connecting your wallet to the Eigenpie app, selecting a staking pool, and depositing your LSTs. As your assets are staked, you also earn Eigenpie points, which can be used to claim EGP tokens in airdrops or token sales.

    • History of Eigenpie and EGP Coin

Eigenpie was developed by Magpie and launched in 2023. The project's Initial DEX Offering (IDO) took place across several platforms, including KuCoin, starting in mid-September 2024.

The platform has a roadmap focused on growing its ecosystem, including strategic partnerships with projects like P2P.org and Chainlink, to enhance its staking services.

    • What Is EGP Token Used for?

The Eigenpie (EGP) token serves two primary purposes within the Eigenpie ecosystem: governance and revenue sharing. By holding EGP tokens, you can participate in decentralized decision-making, having a say in key protocol decisions. Additionally, EGP tokens allow you to earn financial rewards, as they are tied to the platform’s revenue distribution system.

The token also encourages user engagement by offering rewards to early supporters through airdrops and incentivizing users who stake their Liquid Staked Tokens (LSTs). You earn points when you deposit LSTs, which can later be exchanged for EGP tokens or used to access various decentralized finance (DeFi) opportunities.

You can also trade Eigenpie coin against other cryptos listed on the KuCoin spot market but after you DYOR. Based on your investment goals and risk tolerance, you can buy, sell, or HODL $EGP in your portfolio.

    • What Is Eigenpie Tokenomics?

Eigenpie (EGP) has a total token supply of 10 million tokens. The distribution is broken down as follows:

      > 40% allocated to the Initial DEX Offering (IDO)

      > 35% for community incentives

      > 15% goes to the Magpie Treasury

      > 10% is reserved for airdrops to early supporters
