An allocation of 7,500,000 DMAIL tokens, which is 3.75% of the total supply and represents 62.5% of the Airdrop pool (6% of the total supply), was set aside for Early Adopters and Ecosystem Contributors.
The Dmail Network airdrop was a two-part event that distributed a total of 7,500,000 $DMAIL tokens to active users of the platform. While Season 1 of the airdrop has already concluded, there is still some information to know and potential for Season 2:
Season 1 of DMAIL Airdrop
> Claiming: Season 1 airdrop started on January 30th, 2024, and eligible users had 30 days to claim their tokens. If you were eligible and haven't claimed yet, unfortunately, you are no longer able to do so.
> Eligibility: To be eligible for Season 1, users needed to have:
1. Sent at least three messages.
2. They had at least five contacts on their list.
3. Accumulated at least 1,200 task points (completing specific tasks or holding an NFT domain).
4. Donated $5+ to Dmail Network during past Gitcoin grant rounds.
Dmail Network Airdrop - Season 2
> Status: Season 2 is not yet live, but it is planned to launch after Season 1 ends. At the time of writing, 4,500,000 DMAIL tokens have been allocated for the second season. The focus for this season is more on task points, where users can earn airdrop tokens by completing tasks.
> Eligibility: Users who collected points during Season 1 but weren't eligible for the airdrop will have a chance to claim rewards in Season 2. Specific details regarding eligibility and claiming have not yet been announced.
> New users: You can still participate by collecting points through various activities on the Dmail platform and be eligible for the Season 2 airdrop.
