      The Nervos Network, or the Nervos CKB (Common Knowledge Base), is a public, permissionless Layer-1 blockchain that manages data and assets in a highly secure and decentralized manner.       Nervos was launched in 2018 to improve Layer-1 scalability, especially on blockchain networks that supported smart contracts. The Nervos mainnet launch took place in November 2019.
