Socios is a blockchain-based fan engagement and rewards platform for sports and entertainment organizations powered by Chiliz.
ASR is a utility token on the Chiliz Chain, a Proof-of-Authority sidechain built on Ethereum, and is mainly used for the following:
- Governance: ASR holders can vote via smart-contract on various contract-binding "fan decision" polls published by AS Roma.
- Rewards: ASR holders can earn rewards from engagements on Socios.
- Staking: in the future, ASR can be staked to earn Non-Fungible Token (NFT) rewards.
ASR has a total token supply of 10,000,000, of which 1,220,010 were initially distributed to club fans via a Fan Token Offering.
